The Challenge
Dstl uses a number of ways to engage focussed support from Industry SMEs to contribute to innovative and readily-exploitable research; Vedette participates actively in several Dstl frameworks, especially those focussed on simulation, analysis, and cyber capabilities.
Our Approach
Vedette targets areas where we can make a difference. We make two key contributions – using our expertise to ensure that applied research effort is continually directed towards exploitable outputs and – through selective engagement with key technology partners – ensuring that innovative avenues are explored productively and that sound outputs are developed at pace.
The Benefit
Vedette has made pivotal contributions to Dstl’s Joint Operational Training & Simulation (JOTS) research project and to a key collaborative project demonstrating the contribution of Virtual Simulation to Autonomous Systems.
